Love the Teenage room for teenagers they have good books. Me and my friends go there to play games in the teenage rooms and checkout some books with it. I would strongly recommend
The North Branch Library is lovely, comfortable, well stocked, and excellently staffed. This library offers a terrific teen area that includes a great deal of very attractive contemporary teen lit. The children’s section includes a physical play area with ample room to move freely. The reference area is the designated quiet area. The adult area offers an excellent selection of books and media; what they don’t have within the walls of this library, they can quite often secure from one of the other well-stocked city libraries. The ever-full “Hold” shelf serves as ample evidence of the residents’ appreciation of this service. Overall, the North Branch offers a highly valued set of services to everyone in our community and we are grateful for it.
A wondeful place to sit down and read or just pick up some books. Staff are always so friendly and everyone does their best to be quiet in the library. Lots of different resources available here and their website is easy to navigate. The library is my favorite place to be!
Don't come after the middle school kids get out. They have a teen room where they make lots of noise that spills over into the main area.
As soon as I walked into this library at 8:40 pm on 07/18/23 I was disrespected by a tall middle aged man wearing a red plaid shirt. He started shaking his head in disbelief that I was walking in. Mind you they close at 9pm. He then in a nasty tone said, “well hello there”. His whole demeanor was extremely unwelcoming & made me very uncomfortable. I just got done working a 11hr shift and simply needed to print something that would take me 5-10 mins. I was here once before a few months prior to print something at 8:30pm and was treating very poorly as well. It’s possible that whoever is running this place knows how disrespectful their staff are and are okay with it. Perhaps, they don’t. I felt it needed to be mentioned here. I will make sure to get his name the next time I’m there so I can make an official complaint with the city.
A good library . The only problem is they don’t have public WiFi .
Love everything about branch, from the architecture down to the friendly staff members. 5 stars to Denton North Branch Library.
This particular library is such a wealth of resources, materials and tools. I could not have been more impressed, when we were new to the area, finding all the things this library has to offer. Libraries are such a gift to the community and this one is especially rich! The separate room for young adults is so very neat. I loved seeing it utilized by the middle school students after school.
I do wish the staff we encountered were a bit more friendly, but that's been my only criticism.
